Attendance and leave
Late, absent, leave requests, half days, holidays.
- Why was I marked late?Your first activity came after your start time plus the grace minutes (15 unless your company changed it).
- Why does it say absent?It was a working day, your start time had passed, and there was no tracked time and no leave.
- What does "Left early" mean?Your last activity was well before the end of your hours (more than the grace minutes). It shows after your day has ended.
- How do I ask for time off?On Activity, click Request time off, choose the type and the days, and send. Your manager or admin approves it.4 steps· with a picture· For employees

- Can someone take half a day, or just a few hours, off?Yes. When asking for leave, choose First half, Second half or A few hours under How long.3 steps
- How do I add public holidays and festivals?In Settings → Organization → Company holidays (or on Activity), click Add holidays: pick your country and year, tick the days your company takes off, and add them all at once. - How do I mark leave without pay (LOP)?Choose the type Unpaid (LOP) when adding the leave. The payroll Excel takes it off paid days; every other leave type is paid.· For managers and admins
- How do I add a meeting or field work?Add it as offline time on your day: what it was and when. It counts separately from tracked time once it’s approved.3 steps
- How do I read the Activity calendar?One row per person, one square per day. Green = worked (darker = more hours), dashed red = absent, coloured = leave, grey = weekend or holiday.· with a picture· For managers and admins
- Someone worked on their day off. Does it show?Yes. Work is always recorded and shown. On a day off nobody is late or absent, and the time counts as extra hours.
