Is employee time tracking allowed in India?
Tracking work on company computers is common in India. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act expects people to be told what is collected and why: Timerfly shows a notification when the day starts, and everyone sees their own data. This isn’t legal advice; ask your lawyer or CA about your situation.
Which Indian payment methods can we use?
UPI, UPI Autopay, RuPay, Visa and Mastercard cards, and netbanking, through Razorpay. For a bank transfer against an invoice, contact us.
Does it work with Indian payroll software?
It works alongside it. At month end, download the attendance Excel (paid days, loss of pay, leave by type, late marks, overtime) and use it in the payroll software you already have.
Does it work on slow or patchy internet?
Yes. The app records on the computer and sends when the connection allows. Nothing is lost if the internet drops.
