Timerfly + Microsoft Teams
If your company runs on Microsoft 365, Timerfly posts its alerts to a Teams channel as cards: who started late, who’s idle, whose break ran over, with a button that opens that person’s day. Setup uses Teams’ own Workflows, so nothing extra is installed in your tenant.
On the Pro and Business plans, and in the 14-day free trial.
What you get
- Alerts for a late start, idle too long, too much unproductive time, a long break, too much break time, overtime, someone starting or stopping work, the app not reporting for days, or one person signed in on two computers, each with the person’s department.
- One card for a single alert; one summary card when several fire together.
- Works with Teams Workflows (Power Automate) and older incoming-webhook connectors.
Set it up
- 1In Teams, open the channel, choose ⋯ (More options) → Workflows, and pick “Post to a channel when a webhook request is received”.
- 2Name it “Timerfly”, confirm the team and channel, and create it. Copy the URL Teams shows you.
- 3In Timerfly, go to Settings → Alerts & emails → Where alerts go → Microsoft Teams → Connect, paste the URL and Save.
- 4Press “Send test alert” and check the channel.
Questions
Does Timerfly need access to our Microsoft 365 tenant?
No. The workflow gives a single address that can post to one channel. Timerfly never signs in to Microsoft or reads anything from Teams.
The URL Teams gave me doesn’t start with outlook.office.com — is that right?
Yes. Workflow URLs usually end in logic.azure.com or powerplatform.com. Timerfly accepts those and the older webhook.office.com addresses.
Which plan is it on?
Pro and Business, and the 14-day trial.
