Timerfly

Timerfly + Zapier

Timerfly sends an event to a Zapier “Catch Hook” the moment it happens — someone starts their day, an alert fires, leave is approved, a timer stops — and your Zap does the rest in any of Zapier’s apps. No code.

On the Business plan, and in the 14-day free trial.

What you get

  • A Google Sheets row for every arrival: name, date, time — an attendance register that fills itself.
  • A note in HubSpot, Zoho CRM or Pipedrive when someone’s leave is approved.
  • A Gmail or SMS to a manager when a particular alert fires.
  • Hours booked to a project copied into your invoicing or project tool.

Set it up

  1. 1In Zapier, create a Zap. For the trigger choose “Webhooks by Zapier” → “Catch Hook”, and copy the webhook URL Zapier gives you.
  2. 2In Timerfly, go to Settings → API & integrations → Webhooks → Add webhook. Paste the URL and tick the events you want (for an attendance sheet: “Someone started work”).
  3. 3Press “Send test” in Timerfly, then “Test trigger” in Zapier: the event’s fields (member name, date, arrival time…) appear.
  4. 4Add your action — for example Google Sheets → Create Spreadsheet Row — map the fields, and turn the Zap on.

Questions

Do I need a paid Zapier plan?

Webhooks by Zapier is a premium Zapier app, so yes — a paid Zapier plan. Make and n8n can do the same on their free tiers.

Can Zapier read reports from Timerfly, not just events?

Yes, with the API: use “Webhooks by Zapier” → GET with the header Authorization: Bearer and your API key, for example /api/v1/days for a day’s attendance.

Which plan is it on?

Webhooks and the API are on the Business plan, and in the 14-day trial.

Every event, field and endpoint is in the API & webhook documentation.
